On 27th July 2017, team members of Project SENSIBLE returned to Valverde in Évora, to conduct a community engagement session related to the equipment installed in the project participant households.
From 10th to 14th July, EDP Labelec and NEW R&D performed the test protocol for the equipment that was to be installed on the residential facilities of Project SENSIBLE.
On July 13th 2017, EDP Distribuição, the Portuguese Distribution System Operator, organized a Project SENSIBLE day. During the day, EDP shared information on the key aspects of the project and its status.
In July 2017, integration tests of the grid equipment that will be installed in the low voltage grid of Évora Demonstrator were conducted by EDP, INESC TEC, USE, GPTech, EFACEC and Siemens S.A.
Besides from the several hardware and software systems being developed by SENSIBLE partners, the Évora demonstrator also requires systems and equipment developed by external suppliers.
